Our customer service team is tiny. About one and a half people! We unfortunately do not have the resources to make Live Chat available, especially 24/7.
Thus, we’ve decided to utilize AI to try to steer our customers and potential customers in the right direction. We’ve put together things like the Herbal Quiz for this purpose before. And we have years of blog articles and videos. Still the average person landing on our website, may be overwhelmed with everything! Our hope is that this AI tool is the next step in helping people find what they need.
The purpose of this chatbot is being able to helpfully answer most questions and point our customers in the right direction. The AI has been trained on every word of our website, nearly a thousand pages! It’s aim is to point you to product and/or information that you ask for.
Being AI, it is far from flawless. But our internal testing shows helpful answers in over 95%+ of questions asked. Over time, we hope to refine this further.
How to Use the AI Chatbot
Right now the AI can only be accessed through this link or on this page by clicking the widget in the lower left corner.
Once clicked that will open up the chat window.
Enter your question, comment or whatever you want in the text box then hit enter or click the send button. After a few seconds the AI should respond.
Rinse and repeat as needed.
A reminder: The AI is not flawless. It may point you in the wrong direction or even to dead URL’s from time to time. But again it should be useful in 95%+ of cases.
If at any time you want to get human help, click the Get Human Help button at the bottom. This will ask for your name, email and message. One of our real live customer service people will reply to you. You can, of course, also just email directly at [email protected] or even give us a call instead.
Eventually, after additional testing is done, the AI chatbot will be made available across our entire website.
Looking at Sources
One of the things you can do with our chatbot is look at the sources for where it is pulling it’s information from. After just about any question, if you click the Sources link, a dropdown full of URLs will be displayed.
Feel free to click through to any of these that you think may shine further light on your question. Beware that this coming from an LLM (large language model), what is covered on each URL won’t always make sense why the AI used it to answer your question.
Reservations about AI?
I definitely have plenty of them myself! From who is controlling them, their role in the technocractic control grid and censorship, existential threats, and more. Those things much more so than that runaway artificial general intelligence is going to kill us.
However, I’ve decided that instead of wishing they didn’t exist, to instead try to put them to good use. There is no doubt that LLM’s are revolutionary, like the internet was. As tools they can be used for good or ill.
If you want to avoid AI completely, I say go for it. You absolutely do not need to interact with our chatbot. It’s just there for those that may find it useful.
Please note that we do receive a history of ALL CHATS on the backend of this system. Every chat is anonymous unless you leave your particular personal details. To use this AI chatbot does not require any personal information.
This utilizes OpenAI’s ChatGPT through API.
If you have extra concerns, you could still use the chatbot while on Brave browswer, in a private window, logged out of any main accounts, while on a VPN, etc. This will leave no verifiable details.
Or again, just don’t use it. It’s up to you.
