The FDA is supposed to protect the public. That’s their job. That’s what this institution was created for.
Ever since COVID-19, the FDA has been cracking down on companies that are selling false cures for the disease.
That’s all well and good, right?
Our operations are under the regulations of the FDA which means we keep up on what is going on. So I’ve been seeing notice after notice given to other companies.
Some of the messaging disturbs me. Maybe it’s just me, but you be the judge for yourself.
Quotes below come from an FDA notice to one such company that will remain nameless.
“You sell products that are intended to mitigate, prevent, treat, diagnose, or cure COVID-19 in people. We request that you take immediate action to cease the sale of such unapproved and unauthorized products for the mitigation, prevention, treatment, diagnosis, or cure of COVID-19.”
This is new! Take a look at any of our labels. They have the FDA disclaimer that “This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.”
But not until now have I seen mitigate or prevent added to this.
Some of the claims this company made that the FDA flagged were this:
“There is no cure or treatment for COVID19. With this in mind, many doctors say the best thing you can do is boost your immune system. XYZ is an amazing product designed to help boost the immune system.”
“Please note there is no proven cure or treatment for COVID19 . . . There has never been a more important time than [sic] to boost your immune system.”
Jeez.
Do they not agree that having a strong immune system is helpful against this disease?
Consider that nearly 100% of people that are dying have comorbidities, isn’t this obvious?
Do they not agree with Benjamin Franklin’s maxim that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure?
Do they want you defenseless?
My personal opinion is that the FDA seems to be trying to regulate the immune system out of existence! (At least the perception of immunity…)
They are saying there is no hope until there is a drug that we say can help you. You’re only chance is to stay in your house, mask up and avoid the virus until that occurs.
In other words, your immune system has nothing to do with it.
…despite all the data to say that predominately healthy people aren’t suffering much from this.
There are always exceptions of course. One customer wrote in to say that he’s a COVID long hauler, meaning still suffering bad symptoms from the disease, and he was much healthier than other people he knew that got it and didn’t suffer much. That is unfortunate for sure…but these are exceptions to the rule.
I disagree with the FDA. I think a healthy, robust immune system is the best defense you’ve got even if it’s not 100% perfect.

What defenses do we have against the FDA? Can they be sued? They have been out of control in a bad way for years.
Actually yes they can be sued. I am aware of a couple of non-profit organizations that are doing so to them and the CDC. Here is one such example from ICAN: https://beta.regulations.gov/document/FDA-2020-P-1601-0001
And we need a lot more of it as this is a David vs. Goliath battle.
This should be everyone’s concern that cares about their health and the well-being of their families. Your health is your right.
