The Will to Win
Kid-n-Play
When I was a kid growing up, futuristic sci-fi was always a staple in my list of “favorites” stable.
All Grow’d Up
Today and as an adult, I particularly enjoy subjects about the future especially as they relate to health, anti-aging and longevity medicine. If you’ve ever heard me speak (like the Vital Way podcast) or read articles I’ve written – you know that – I think aging is a mistake and I don’t want to participate. Neither should you my friend, neither should you…
This nonsense we all grew up with, “you’re just getting old,” or “you’ve just got to learn to age gracefully,” or “just accept it,” is a complete crock-pot of crispy crap-o-lah.
Here’s the Deal – “Will You.”
General Ferdinand Foch said it best, “the first condition of victory is the will to conquer.”
Health is exactly the same. Whether we’re talking about anti-aging or just even plain old happy, healthy existence – you’ve got to WANT THIS for yourself first. Then, for whatever your own reasons are – that need be important only to you – believe you DESERVE this.
“What you think… and the beliefs you have about yourself, do matter.”
– Logan Christopher, 101 Simple Steps to Radiant Health
Optimal health starts inside your mind, deep inside your mind first. Developing the WILL to live at your highest potential is best accomplished as you allow yourself to access resources for your mind – like any of Logan’s books & seek out what you need. Nutrition, optimal supplementation, like Shilajit & Tongkat Ali found at Lost Empire Herbs & eventually – augmentation (<–more about this in upcoming articles) are all important.
But tools such as these are secondary to developing your will… Literally, the prescription is, “VISUALIZE the You – what you want to become FIRST & then cultivate the will to WILL YOU into existence.” You know how – when you stop and think about it intuitively, what it takes for you to conquer.
“As long as the mind can envision that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100%.”
– Arnold Schwarzenegger
The Herd
A large portion of society has a habit of ennobling aging and death. Its ridiculous. Can you recall a time witnessing a phenomenon like this? As you think about that, I don’t know if you can remember how it’s almost as if we are expected to allow your body to degrade into a wrinkly pile of mush without a fight.
Have you ever seen someone on TV or the movies (or life) get a diagnosis of cancer? Think about it, what’s the first thing that they ask the doctor? “How much time have I got?” As if no matter what… Death will take you.
“… cultivate a belief in invincibility.”
– Logan Christopher, 101 Simple Steps to Radiant Health
Predictions
What’s really interesting is that the first predictor of survivability in any catastrophic illness or injury is, “the will to live.” Think about it. What if you were to ask yourself, “How much do you want this for yourself (and why do you want it)?” Some people are motivated by others close to you & ask questions like. “Who needs you?” To show up better, stronger, faster than before, maybe ask yourself, “Who’s relying on you to be there at your peak, highest potential?” What will make you believe in you to the point where – you believe you deserve this – and then act. Take the steps necessary to fight back. Maybe begin by doing research, reading any of Logan’s articles or books like Upgrade your Testosterone.
“Ultimately you want to [and will be able to] have the entire world’s knowledge connected directly to your mind”
– Sergey Brin, Founder of Google
As you read in the last article, remember that a little known website called Google has invested almost half a billion dollars into human immortality by 2045. Those boys over at Google are dead serious. Ever hear of an obscure magazine called Time? They’ve done more than a couple cover articles on this very topic – “Live long enough to live forever – 2045 the year Man becomes immortal.”
Bridge Over Troubled Water
Depending on who you talk to, there have been different bridges elucidated to you’re accessing radical life extension and radical life expansion. De facto immortality. In the following articles were going to expand on each of them. As a preview – an overview the “Four Bridges to Immortality” definition is as follows:
* Bridge One: Changing what you eat, change what you drink, get more sleep, stop drinking so much small-batch bourbon (even though it’s awesome) and smoking so many cigars Greg… De facto lifestyle changes.
* Bridge Two: Getting proper Medical care when it’s clinically indicated. Submit for surgery when necessary. But probably and (I believe) most importantly, using high-quality, properly sourced nutritional supplementation – like Shilajit & Tongkat Ali found at Lost Empire Herbs and eventually –
* Bridge Three: The merging of our Biology with our Technology at the Supra-Cellular level. Like we mentioned in our last article, the Parkinson’s implant, the cochlear implant, six-million dollar man level bionic prostheses and much much more.
* Bridge Four: Cellular modification at the sub-nuclear level of DNA via intentionally directed technology… Life expectancy escape said velocity of one year for every year of life – short of catastrophic trauma, individual man can live in definitely.
“I’m fascinated by the idea that DNA is digital. A gene is just a sequence of code… computer information. Biology is fast becoming just another branch of Information Technology.”
– Richard Dawkins PhD, Evolutionary biologist
What’s the point?
Ultimately – a person seeking immortality is not about just pointlessly living “forever.”
This quest is about finding those ways and means for a person to maximize your current existence, your present moment, this moment to your highest and best potential.
Seeking immortality is about your having the personal freedom, liberty & choice to live as you see fit – for all your own reasons that need be important only to you…
Remember that: “the first condition of victory is the will to conquer.”
– General Ferdinand Foch

It is ridiculous to want to be at old age in this world. This world and our body’s are off little meaning when we know what life really is. Life has little to do with this material world and Arnold is not a good example. I can tell you that your age is fixed when we are born here because we are not born here without meaning, so do what you want but nobody can escape the power of the aura then you born with it. If you are on a the path that you have almost finished here on Earth then it can be that you have enough with 40-50years and then you leave Earth, Karma is well made and Mother Earth will lett you go on your way to the next plane. This is the real life, the real evolution and not to make your body’s to become off old age because that has no meaning at all. To grow of old age is not a good thing because that will tell you that you have more cause and effect to make good, but you can make that you can grow off old age (if this time is already in your aura or you can take/do what you want but it will be off no effect) with good health. That is a good thing but to do this for getting old is not the way to go. Ask you the questions: who wants to life forever on this planet? Wo want to be off old age here with all the decline that will come with it? No herbs will make that you have no complaints at the age of 70-80. No diet or movement regime too. So the quest is not:
about finding those ways and means for a person to maximize your current existence, your present moment, this moment to your highest and best potential.
but:
finding the way the be a good person for all live around you and this is the way for a person to maximize his/here current existence, conscious in the present moment, and when you leave this plane of existence and your Karma is over, then only then will you be wise enough to go seek your highest and best potential. And I can tell you this here is not it. This is only one dot in the Universe we need to go trough and then there are many more and than after completed the Universal pad you have reach your Real Highest Potential. That is the Big Plan of Life and not this little material plane because that is not even comparable with the Highest Plane. You want to know more about this then read ‘ Course of Miracles’ or read the books of The University of Christ that has been brought here on Earth by Jozef Rulof.

Totally agree. If you’re magic and mysticism, then you could also check out Franz Bardon’s work. Specifically a book called the practice of magical evocation( which has spirits of alchemy that teach immortality) and /or the key to the true qabalah( which has specific formulas for agelessness) and much more! Good Luck ;)

Thank you for the recommendation Nick!

I have told many people I plan to live to be 200, so only about 146 years left to go. So far, I’m not making too good of a run at it. Injured joints (I’ll never run again, but thankful I can walk fast enough to sweat and ride a bicycle like a mad-man), somehow wound up with a low functioning thyroid, have a border-line sleep disorder and dealt with chronic pain for over 30 years. The reasons for sticking with “The Longevity Project” ranges from “because they say it can’t be done” to “just to piss off social security and my doctors”. (I’m also a little crazy.) My story is a bit complicated and lengthy, just suffice it to say, supplements helped me get through some extremely over-stressed times and may well rejuvenate things enough again to make me feel more alive than dying. I’ve only begun to tap the well of natural products and believe prescription meds are one of man’s greatest poisons. As long as I don’t split my head open crashing my bike (again for the nth time) I may just have a shot at 200.

Excellent Joel! I tell people I will live far longer then they too! They never understand why I would want too. Seems like an easy idea to grasp for me since I enjoy life with its ups and downs a lot.
Anyways, you might check out gymnasticbodies.com for those injured joints. Gymnastic Strength Training has already healed my wrists to the point where handstand work doesn’t bother me (previously I would feel it hard for days and eventually had to stop all weighted wrist work of any kind) and am more mobile then I’ve been since probably before High School. Highly recommend it. Would supplement your biking very well!
