Pine Pollen – The Superfood of the 21st Century
Pine Pollen may be one of the most potent and powerful herbs or foods available today. It is the male spore of the pine tree and has been used for thousands of years.
There are 126 species of the genus Pinus, but only a select few are used for their amazing pine pollen benefits. Ours is collected from the Masson pine (aka Chinese oil pine) from the mountainous regions at an altitude of 500-800 meters.

Cell Wall Broken Pine Pollen Powder
Like chorella, pine pollen has a hard shell on it. If this is not broken then the nutrition that is found in pine pollen will not be as readily available to your body.
The powder is processed through a low temperature and high speed airflow sporoderm-breaking technology, leaving 99% of the pine pollen with the cell walls broken, with sizes of around 1 to 2 micrograms and thus available to your body.
Pine pollen has over 200 bioactive vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and other super nutrients in every single serving. It is a wild-harvested super food with no added chemicals or preservatives.
Pine Pollen is a Rare Source of Phyto-Androgens
These can help combat all those endocrine disrupting xeno-estrogens are our environment is full of these days, from drinking water, pesticides, plastics and more.* This includes:
This is not a steroid and you won’t have any side effects of those drugs. Instead with all the natural co-factors and the small amounts these will work with your body for adaptogenic effects.*
Gibberellins – Structurally very similar to androgens. These are basically plant steroids that jumpstart the first stages of germination. Spray them on growing buds and they will grow exponentially. They are found most in the buds and pollens of plants. They have been found to actually connect with male hormones receptors in the human body. Basically, they can mimic androgens in the body and stimulate androgen production.* They also appear to have a regulating action on the prostate.*
Brassinosteroids – Another essential element to plants, brassinosteroids are being used by plant growers as a highly efficient, broad-spectrum, safe plant growth regulator. Pine pollen contains many of the over 30 different kinds already identified. Two of the brassinosteroids in pine pollen are the mechanism through which the liver safely removes xenobiotic substances, such as xenoestrogens, from the body system.*
For more of the anabolic effects, you’ll want to get the Pine Pollen Tincture. This is best for bodybuilding with pine pollen.
Pine Pollen is Great for Women Too
In China, where pine pollen has been used for thousands of years, it is considered one of the beauty tonics for women. Yes, it can be used on your skin too. Several of its compounds support both elastin and collagen. And taken internally, with its wide variety of minerals, vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants and more it’ll help support your health.
Many women get scared off when they see the word “androgens”, not realizing that they too need these hormones, just in a lesser amount than men. Taking pine pollen, especially in powdered form, will not make you wake up with a mustache, deepen your voice, or sprout huge muscles.
Pine pollen is used by women for the same reason as it is used by men, to battle high levels of xeno estrogens which do not discriminate between genders. This imbalance of high estrogen and low male hormones is linked to a number of conditions like loss of muscle tone, osteoporosis, diabetes, low libido and weight gain. Pine pollen can play a very important role in helping to balance those hormones by increasing androgenic hormones and detoxify harmful xeno-estrogens.
The tinctured form, which concentrates and makes the phyto-androgens more bioavailability, is generally not recommended for women. That being said we have reports from a couple ladies, especially in post-menopausal years, that get great benefits from this.

No need for refrigeration. Store in a cool, dry place and pine pollen will stay potent for up to a year once opened.
Dosing and Megadosing
Our normal recommended dose of pine pollen is 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per day. Many people get great benefits with this maintenance dose.
On the other hand you have the Megadose:
“Oral dosing in China runs from 5 to 10 grams per day.”
– Stephen Harrod Buhner
The massive doses recommended by Chinese Medicine makes sense when one sees the amount of nutrients involved. One tablespoon approximates to 3 grams of pine pollen. To get 10 grams of pine pollen in an easy manner to remember, you can take one slightly heaping tablespoon first thing when you wake up, again around noon or after a work out, and then lastly before going to bed. And some people like to take all three tablespoons all at once.
Some prefer megadosing for more potent effect instead of just taking pine pollen tincture, for various reasons. To make the most out of your pine pollen while megadosing, take a whole tablespoon three times a day and let it dissolve in your mouth to increase the chance of instant digestion and partial absorption of androgens right into your bloodstream. This should provide the best possible androgenic effect with pine pollen powder.
For more powerful effect, turn to pine pollen tincture. Some people like to megadose the pine pollen powder, while also taking the tincture as well. This should provide the strongest results.
You have two options here for pine pollen powder. You can get a 50 gram or 250 gram bag. Of course you save some money with the larger bag and you can use it for megadosing or just simply to have more for longer on the maintenance dose.
