Aches, Pains, and Injuries
Limited Quantity Available
One of our Lost Empire’s employees found this tincture to be life-saving. She was very annoyed when we ran out of stock. But now it’s available once again and here to share with our VIP customers.
Regen can be quite helpful to combat and even repair some of those aches and pains that life seems to bring when we get battered about or just from aging.
This Blend of Five Herbs Features:
- Eucommia 35%
- Turmeric 25%
- Elk Antler 20%
- Gotu Kola 15%
- Honeyed Licorice 5%
Depleted Jing can be associated with low back and knee pain specifically. But beyond that, any achy joints can have to do with a lack of Jing energy. Most people don’t know that joints have androgen receptors in them. Eucommia is one of the most potent Yin Jing herbs there is, while Elk Antler focuses on the Yang Jing side.
Meanwhile, Turmeric brings some of its well-known and strong anti-inflammatory properties to bare. Gotu Kola is included for its collagen-promoting properties, which can assist in tissue development, along with anti-inflammatory benefits on its own.
Here’s more details about each herb…
Eucommia is the Top Herb for Cartilage, Tendon, Ligament, and Bone Support
Eucommia, a type of rubber tree, is known to support bone health.* It has been shown to initiate bone formation functions like the creation of osteoblasts.* One rat study found improved bone density and femur strength.*
Part of this may be triggered by Eucommia helping to release growth hormone secretagogues.*
Its reputation makes it a top herb for athletes. These effects go beyond the bones, affecting the connective tissues like tendons and ligaments as well.*
You can think of it in terms of Eucommia helping to build and strengthen your structure.*
These areas mean that Eucommia can be especially helpful in healing from injuries.*
It contains both phytoandrogens and phytoestrogens, both of which the joints and bones contain androgen and estrogen receptors for.
It was shown to have anti-inflammatory properties as well.*
For more information, see our Eucommia Spagyric Tincture page.
Here’s what one customer said about that individual tincture.
“This and deer antler should be in everyone’s herb chest for those times when you’re in need of repair. Hurt yourself? You want Eucommia.” – Ross
Elk Antler is Rich in Growth Factors that help Regenerate
Although Elk Antler has a reputation as a hormonal support, from working with it over the years, it works even better for aches, pains, and injuries. This is probably due to the many growth factors it contains.
The fact that antlers regenerate yearly gives a clue as to its power.
Elk antler has been shown to contain IGF1, IGF2, and other compounds. These hormones are essential for the growth and repair of all kinds of tissues in the human body. They also help regulate cellular development.
You’ll also find nerve growth factor (NGF) and neurotrophin-3, which help stimulate nerve fibers’ growth and are active on nerve receptors. Then, there is a brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which supports neuron growth and survival.
There are fibroblast growth factors and vascular endothelial growth factors. These are especially important to the connective tissues and blood vessels.
Bone morphogenetic proteins are important for the formation of cartilage and bone. Transforming growth factors involve regulating inflammatory processes, especially in the gut, stem cell differentiation, and immune T-cell regulation and differentiation.
These growth factors are all present in the growing deer antler. Which ones and how much make their way into the deer antler when it is separated and into the final tincture, only science will tell us in time.
Elk Antler also Provides:
- Type II Collagen
- Glycosaminoglycans
- Hyaluronic Acid
- Mucopolysaccharides
- Glucosamine Sulfate
- Chondroitin Sulfate
- 9 Essential Amino Acids
- 13 Non-Essential Amino Acids
- Many Minerals

Here’s what happy customers have said about that individual tincture.
“yes, it is expensive. Yes, it works for me and helps me heal. This stuff is the best I have found so far.” – Paul B.
“Helped with some old nerve trauma in my shoulder. Over the course of the bottle, I went from being unable to lay on my shoulder for more then a few minutes without my hand and arm going numb to being able to sleep thru the night on my side. Pain is largely gone.” – Ross Cranston
“Within two days I noticed that my severely arthritic wasn’t in constant pain anymore. Shoulder pain has been a constant in my life for over 2 years, I have had injections every 6 months, I had to trade in my manual transmission car, I have been miserable with it. This tincture has been a pleasant surprise and will be a continued supplement in my life for sure.” – Mike B.
Turmeric, the Popular Inflammaging Fighter
Inflammation is found as the root of virtually all chronic diseases, which tend to go hand in hand with aging. So much so that the name “Inflammaging” has become popularized.
Turmeric is well known today for its ability to support a wide range of health benefits, including its well-known ability to help reduce joint pain & stiffness and more.*
The “active constituent” is curcumin, the most well-known and researched of the curcuminoids. The lesser-known ones include demethoxycurcumin and bidemethoxycurcumin.
There are also a variety of volatile oils, such as tumerone, atlantone, and zingiberone, with healthful effects.

Here’s what happy customers have said about that individual tincture.
“This is the most potent turmeric I have found.” – Denise Wilson
“Does exactly what they say It’ll do!” – Douglas Shepherd
“Logan did a solid job on that one as always. Far outperforms the other Turmeric that I was using. Could tell a solid difference with nothing else changed. I only use the Turmeric tincture on days when I’m doing heavy eccentric lifts or training (Arm wrestling training is almost exclusively eccentric) and it without a doubt helps with both acute and chronic inflammation from that style of training. If I don’t use it, those muscles and tendons are wrecked for two or three days; when I do then I bounce back and can do isometric holds and concentric training the next day. Love everything about it!” – Tim
Gotu Kola that Collagen Supporter
While Gotu Kola is better known for its meditative and nootropic benefits, it also has earned it’s place inside of Regen.
Gotu kola has major collagen-building properties. Collagen is the scaffolding of the body, holding everything together. Not only does Gotu Kola work on improving the look, feel, and strength of our skin system but supports the very structures of the organs, muscles, ligaments, tendons, myofacisa and cardiovascular plumbing.
This herb has been used for centuries as a dermatological agent for minor wounds, scars and skin conditions.*
Gotu Kola has been found to promote fibroblast proliferation, increase collagen synthesis, increase intracellular fibronectin content, and improve skin strength while diminishing scars. Other studies found accelerated burn wound healing.
Still, more studies found anti-inflammatory effects, specifically in collagen type II-induced arthritis in mice.

Licorice, the Great Harmonizer with Corticosteroid-Like Activities
Licorice is included in most classic Chinese formulas as it is known as the “Great Harmonizer”. In fact, “nine out of ten formulas contain licorice”. This may be because licorice is moistening while most herbs are drying. It’s said to reduce toxicity and improve efficacy.
Heat and inflammation are common in injuries, whether chronic or acute. While inflammation has its place in healing, it often goes overboard especially in our toxic world that contributes to too much. This heat can dry out the area; hence, having something to moisten it up can aid in regenerating it.
Licorice also has its own anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. One compound it contains, glycyrrhetic acid, performs a range of corticosteroid-like activities.
What do doctors often do for joint pain? Cortisone injections. These are man-made corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation in joints or connective tissues.
The licorice used in this formula is “honeyed”, meaning cooked in honey before tincturing. This further improves its moistening qualities. Honey itself is said to have wound-healing properties.
The Ankh of Life
The Ankh, often called the “key of life” or the “cross of life”, is an iconic symbol from ancient Egypt that embodies life and regeneration. The exact origins of the Ankh remain shrouded in mystery, but its significance as a symbol of life is universally acknowledged. Ancient Egyptians believed it had the power to bestow life in this world and hereafter.
Pharaohs and deities were often depicted holding the Ankh, reinforcing its association with divinity, eternal life, and the power of rebirth. We think this new formula just might tap into that power…
The Quality of the Ingredients and Processing
Each one of the ingredients is spagyrically prepared individually then mixed for the final blend. This lengthy and detailed process, which you can read more about here, makes this tincture stronger and more embodied than your average tincture.
- The Eucommia (Eucommia ulmoides) is source from China. Good quality Eucommia will show the latex between the cut pieces of bark as this source does.
- The Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is certified organic from India.
- The Elk Antler (Cervus canadensis) is farmed in Wisconsin, USA. It is ethically harvested and prion-free Elk Antler. Slices, including tips, middles, and bottoms are used.
- The Gotu Kola (Centalla asiatica) is either wildcrafted or certified organic from India.
- The Honeyed Licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis preparata) comes from China.
The water is fresh but filtered water from a spring in the mountains. The alcohol used is organic cane alcohol. This tincture is roughly 40% abv.
This tincture is more expensive than most due primarily to the Elk Antler content. Antler is a premium quality and cost ingredient coming from animals.
Taste and Dosage
Regen Spagyric Tincture is predominately salty and sweet with some bitter undertones. It starts salty, but finishes sweet from the honeyed licorice.
A recommended dose is one squirt (1 mL) once daily. Each bottle being 30mL, this dose would last one month.
We encourage you to modify the dose as it best supports you throughout the day. Play with it and find what works for you.
Contraindications
Each of these herbs is quite safe overall.
There is no research to support use in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Large amounts of licorice, taken for lengthy periods, can cause some issues like raised blood pressure, water retention, and more that can be problematic with some diseases. This formula only has 5% licorice so this shouldn’t be a problem.
