Sea Buckthorn Contains Over 190 Bio-Active Substances
Only Food to Contain Omega 3, 6, 7 and 9’s All in One Place
Sea Buckthorn berry powder, Hippophae rhamnoides, has long been used by Mongols, Tibetans and the Chinese.
The name Hippophae means “Shining Horse” indicating some of its benefits and the fact that it made great food for horses on the Mongolian plains. Sometimes it goes by the shorter name of seaberry.

Benefits of Sea Buckthorn
As a superfood packed with nutrition it has far and wide ranging benefits.
Sea Buckthorn berry powder has been used historically to promote the health of the cardiovascular system, immune system as well as for anti-senility and anti-radiation effects.[1]*
Some research has shown that many of the components inside sea buckthorn berry powder can protect the cells, modulate stress, modulate the immune system, protect the liver, protect from radiation, support tissue regeneration and support joints.[2]*
It even may help in tooth decay through compounds that keep the mouth clean.[3]*
Due to its strong antioxidant capabilities and other effects, some are classifying sea buckthorn as an adaptogen.[4]*
Limited human trials have shown some benefits to cardiovascular system [5,6] as well assisting with blood sugar.[7]*

Amazing Fatty Acid Content
Sea buckthorn is amazing in that is has all different groups of the omega fatty acids; 3, 6, 7 and 9. This is unique in the plant world.
All of the omega fatty acids are found in the fruit, but only trace amounts of these will be found in the powder.
In the future we plan to also have sea buckthorn oil available which can be used in both similar and different ways for more wide reaching effects.
Chinese Uses

Sour Taste
As a berry, there is some sweetness to it but its main taste is sour. This is reflective of its vitamin C content (1.35 mg per 1 gram). Estimates say that berries have ten to fifteen times the content of C as oranges. In a powdered form this is concentrated down even more.
The sour taste also points to the hepatoprotective nature how it supports the liver. Studies have shown an anti-fatty liver and anti-cirrhosis effect.[9]*
It also appears to have an insulin regulating effect too and overall is helpful to digestion.[10]*

Sea Buckthorn Dosage and Instructions
The recommended dosage is 1 to 2 tablespoons per day. With a 250 gram bag (over half a pound) this will last approximately 2-4 weeks.
Sea buckthorn should not be stimulating so it can be taken at night. That being said everyone is different so a few people may find it to be stimulating.
This can be taken straight (pucker up!) or mixed easily into water or any other drink or smoothie.
Wildcrafted and certified Organic. In order to turn the juice into powder a small amount (around 8%) of maltodextrin (derived from organic, non-gmo rice) is used.
Contraindications:
As a berry, sea buckthorn is relatively safe. Clinical testing has not been done with pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Sea buckthorn may slow blood clotting and thus should not be taken in combination with drugs that do this or for those in surgery.

When I read that this product contains high vitamin C, it for some reason had me thinking of lemons. Well when I tried it the taste definitely hit. My body craves this stuff after sweating it out after a cardio workout. I don’t know if this product could be used as an electrolyte drink, but I use it as such. (especially after knowing about those sports drinks like gatorade and powerade that contain chemicals like red, yellow and blue artificial dyes…yeah, I don’t want those chemicals ingested). I prefer the taste of this stuff.
The sourness is delicious, but that’s just my personal taste.
Thank you!

Right now I should be in the hospital with broken bones or even worse but I belive it was because Suppermans Herbs I’m here to tell my story. For the past several months I have been on a arsenal of Suppermans Herbs, Sea Buckthorn is one I take almost every day. I’m a 53 year old man and have bounced back literally after Suppermans Herbs came into my life.
Here in the mid west Dec 25 Christmas not only is it Christmas but it is alternative fire arm’s ,, Deer season 🙂 I love to deer hunt but my age even though I’m not all that old I can feel it deep inside, and when it gets cold nothing hurts more than holding still 20 feet up in the air in your deer stand for Hrs on end. Yesterday was another one of those days but it almost was my last I fell out of my stand 20 ft in the air. I had been in my stand for a couple hrs and the sun was starting to set 🙂 this is the time deer start to move and it was time to get my game on and be on total alert, deer can come in with no noise silent they just appear out of no ware. I’m hunting with my black powder rifle ,, cap and ball with a 75 grain load and I just made a loud rattle with my antlers Attempting to simulate 2 bucks fighting to lure in a deer 😉
It worked,, a 7 pointer walks in and I put my gun on him sight em in and slowly pull the trigger BAM!! ? He is gone .. Crap I missed 🙁 so I re load there is always a chance that he may come around again, you need to hold of and see what happends. I give it about 10 min or so and I decide to take a closer look for blood this well tell me if I hit him or not, if there’s blood I need to try to track him down. So this is were my biggest mistake happends, I’m thinking of this deer I just took a shot at not what I should be thinking of ,, my safety. I set the rifle down and I put left foot down on the first step I get my stants and I reach for my rifle, than I come down one more and I reach for my grab bar but I missed this is not good I got a loaded rifel in one hand with the saftey of and I just missed the grab bar with my other hand and I’m falling backwards 20 feet in the air “CRAP” THIS is going to suck and I’m going to hit the ground hard this just might be it.. I’m done. A million things flashed through my mind in a brief second but if I was going survive this fall I better think fast just how I was going to land. I pushed of the ladder stand hard backwards I had to get away from the steel that I could crush myself into on impact,, that and I had a loaded rifle with the saftey of. I held the gun over my head and brased for impact think just as soon as I hit I need to go into a roll backwards no matter what absorb all the shock in a roll don’t be tight be loose. As I was going down one thing became clear I can do this as a kid I would platform dive and when I was just kid I would from my parents roof just for fun this would have to save me on impact I need to think these thought just as soon as I hit. The ground came fast and I don’t remeber much only clapsing and going into a backwards roll over and over only after hitting the ground and rolling flipping backward I strung up into a standing possession holding the gun straight up WTF just happened and I’m still alive and there is no pain I’m perfectly fine I DID IT !! Thene to top it all off I set my gun down without even thinking of what I just did and I start looking for my deer. I’m not really putting all this together I’m more worried about finding this deer than what I just put my body through its like it never even happened but it did I just fell 20 ft hit the ground went into a back wards roll and now I’m looking for this dam deer. Anyways to make a long story longer I never saw blood and my best guess is I missed, so what do I do .. Get back in my stand the one that almost killed me and I never thought twice about it. So about 1/2 hr goes by and I’m thinking this sucks,, Im thinking how could I have missed I had my sights right on him so back down I go this time I’m using my head and take all the time I need. By now the sun has set its dark and I’m walking around with my flashlight looking for blood and there he is 🙂 and it was a perfect shot 🙂 he blead internally and fell into some brush ,, it was a good shot I never herd a struggle I love it when it ends like this I don’t like to see animal struggle it needs to be ethical a clean kill and yea I got my deer 😉
Did Sea buckthorn do this amazing fate that may have just saved my life ? I have no idea but when I was falling my head was clear and I new what I had to do in order to survive the fall in a brief second I had to think like a trained athlete ready for an event. I would like to thank you all at Lost Empire Herbs I do belive you may have just saved my life 🙂 Merry Christmas 😉 + Thank you, Hugs Greg
