This article is meant to give you an overview of some of our most popular herbs and what they can do for you.
If you head to the Lost Empire home page you’ll see the current Top 12 list of Best Sellers at any time. This is updated based on sales numbers, so depending on when you see it, it could be slightly different than what is below.
For each herb, you can read all about it on the main page, and I’ve included a small snippet to give you an overview.
By the way, this article might be one worth bookmarking for future reference.
Pine pollen is our biggest seller by far. Literally the pollen of pine trees, this is quite unique in that it contains trace amounts of human hormones including testosterone and DHEA. Along with tons of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and more this enters the human body and helps to balance the endocrine system.
This alcohol extract of the pine pollen is even stronger in its androgenic benefits. Generally, only recommended for older guys this can pack a potent punch.
3. Tongkat Ali
Tongkat Ali is right up there with the pine pollen tincture it what it can do to optimize hormones. But this works through different mechanisms of action. Some like pine pollen better. Some like tongkat more. Some take both together!
4. Nettle Root
Another hormonal herb. Can you tell what most of people come to Lost Empire for? Nettle root may help balance the action of some of the more directly androgenic herbs like those above. In addition, this is one of the best things for supporting prostate health.
5. He Shou Wu
He Shou Wu is one of the best Jing herbs there is. You remember Jing from this article? This is one I personally take every day as it helps to restore that foundational energy. Strong antioxidant and DNA-protective effects plus much more.
Scientifically formulated, this blend of five herbs is specifically for helping sexual function through several physiological mechanisms. If you want longer, harder, better then you’ll want to check this out. It is also (proudly) the worst tasting thing we have by far!
Our first formula, this is meant to restore your health like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. It includes four of the herbs contained on this list, pine pollen, ant, he shou wu and shilajit. Great for energy and supporting your health in a comprehensive way.
The amazing five-flavor fruit is a complete formula in and of itself. Contains all three treasures, nourishes all five elements and enters all 12 meridians. Sharpen the mind, beautify the skin, support liver detox, open the heart and more.
9. Black Ant
Yes, this is actually ants! Don’t worry there are no legs or antennae’s, this extract powder is fine granules. Long used in Chinese medicine this is known as a better Qi or energy tonic than the more popular ginseng. Most people can feel energy from it right away upon taking. I know I can.
10. Shilajit Powder
The Destroyer of Weakness and Conqueror of Mountains, this amazing substance out of the Himalayan mountains does a whole lot. It is loaded with trace minerals, and the detoxifying fulvic and humic acids. Also, available in a resin form.
Mucuna is a fascinating multi-functional herb, being a rich source of L-dopa, the precursor to the neurotransmitter dopamine. It helps support hormones, optimizes brain function, is an anti-stimulant and more.
The foundational formula for women of all ages, this powerful blend of seven herbs is built out of the best women’s herbs in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. What does it do? A lot of everything! Loaded with four different berries it also tastes great (at least compared to our other formulas).
Whew! I could keep going but hopefully that gives you a solid overview.
You’ll notice there’s a lot of hormonal herbs on this list as that is what we’ve become popular for, but we have lots else too. There are herbs for the immune system, sleep, cognitive function, detox, nutrition and more.
And we’re always working at rolling out even more to best support your health and performance.
