This video goes over the endocrine disrupting chemicals we’ve put into the environment and its effects specifically on human males.
“We are conducting a vast toxicological experiment in which our children and our children’s children are the experimental subjects.” Dr. Herbert Needleman
The Disappearing Male is about one of the most important, and least publicized, issues facing the human species: the toxic threat to the male reproductive system.
The last few decades have seen steady and dramatic increases in the incidence of boys and young men suffering from genital deformities, low sperm count, sperm abnormalities and testicular cancer.
At the same time, boys are now far more at risk of suffering from ADHD, autism, Tourette’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, and dyslexia.
The Disappearing Male takes a close and disturbing look at what many doctors and researchers now suspect are responsible for many of these problems: a class of common chemicals that are ubiquitous in our world.
Found in everything from shampoo, sunglasses, meat and dairy products, carpet, cosmetics and baby bottles, they are called “hormone mimicking” or “endocrine disrupting” chemicals and they may be starting to damage the most basic building blocks of human development.
Some shocking stats and facts from this video:
- Sperm counts have been cut in half worldwide in the past 50 years.
- Up to 85% of that sperm that is produced is abnormal.
- There are over 90000 man made chemicals.
- Sexual organs in alligators are a third of normal size in heavily polluted Florida
- The younger you are the more problematic these problems are, with unborn babies likely suffering the worst. There’s been a 200% increase in male genital defects.
- Miscarriages are increasing especially with boys.
- Since 1970 this has added up to almost 3 million fewer boys.
- Since 1976 the US government has banned just 5 chemicals.
- Of the 80000 chemicals in use over 85% have never been tested for their impact on the human body.
(This video is over five years old. While obviously still relevant, the numbers on these stats has surely changed to some degree.)
Phthalates and Bisphenol-A (aka BPA), two of the worse offenders that we know about, are explained in more depth, including the common places you’ll find them.
Of course, these chemicals are effecting females as well, it’s just that they may be worse in some ways for males. But everyone needs to know about these endocrine disrupting chemicals.
Action Steps:
- You MUST lower your exposure to these chemicals. Avoid plastics, pesticides, most body and hair care products, and other pollutants as much as possible.
- Make sure your detoxification pathways are working well so your body can get rid of these chemicals, since you can’t avoid them completely. (Watch the Ultimate Detox Protocol and read this Detox article.)
- Fortify your own endocrine system and detoxification pathways with herbs like pine pollen and schisandra.

As far as plastics that say BPA-free, are they really still safe? Because it is still a plastic…
Nate says
Also I see bpa-free nitrogen flushed plastic. Does anyone have more info about that?
admin says
BPA free is better than BPA full, but yes there are other harmful things in plastics like phthalates.

You know, these authors have to stop using word We. We does not include all of humanoids on this planet. It’s the “scientists” and corporations and the governments they own and obviously the half wits that work for them who are doing it and the half wits that use the products. Stop buying the mass produced garbage. Count me out of the we. I am not part of the “WE”.

Just more merit to the hunches everybody has, this “is it me or the environment” question has to stop. Purely on the fact that 90k complex, volatile, isolated chemicals are being produced in the world it is safe to say that the environment is a more harmful place than inside ourselves. Human race is caught in complacency, if we don’t tell these freaks to shut down their malicious labs they’ll make the future for us. I for one don’t want to live in a world where the elite construct death and feed it to our offspring and myself. You all should take steps to eliminate and replace your environments with biodegradable, plant-based, safe products. From soap to sofas, check it out. Vamp up your food to negate the effects. Thanks Logan for sharing, good stuff to know. Also watch The Human Experiment, think it’s on netflix

Logan,
Are there some studies in the Amish community about this subject? Since they don’t use those stuff…
admin says
I’m not sure. That would certainly be interesting to look into.
Michael says
Can you give us men advice on how we can combat this? Can you tell us what we should avoid and what herbs or vitamins we can take to avoid this? Thank you!

I listed some simple steps above. Check out these articles for more – https://lostempireherbs.com/estrogens-vs-androgens/ and https://lostempireherbs.com/mens-hormone-health/

My wife and I are experiencing this having to go through IVF
in order to have a child. We both have fertility issues and know
many other couples in the same position. Never in human history
have we had these kind of fertility problems. I can only assume that
this is an environmental issue.
admin says
Sorry to hear that Erich. Yes the environment is problematic AND you can do many things about it. Through changes in lifestyle, diet and herbalism can certainly help too, I’ve heard many stories of couples conceiving where they haven’t been able to before, not using something like IVF.

Logan,
Thank you for posting this. While I accept the facts as presented, at the same time I find it difficult to accept because we’re also producing, at least to my empirical eye, super-males. Specifically, we are producing young males who have hands and feet WAY larger than their ancestors. Shoe size of 12, 13, 14 and beyond among young males are common-place. Young males on Snapchat and other forms of social media are showcasing genitalia (penises and testes) of gargantuan proportions. So while I accept the chemical facts as presented in this video, the empirical evidence demonstrates that we reproducing males of super-human phenotypical quality. How do we reconcile one with the other?
fred stork says
So, how many – what percentage – of males are “super males”?
BTW – it’s a STRANGE way to judge men, by size. Do you actually believe bigger is better? What do you know about their health?
admin says
Does it have to be an either/or thing or could it be both? Perhaps some other chemicals are changing size in that way. Fred also poses a good question in how many of these men are there?
Ryan Lewandowsky says
Ken while I appreciate the thought you put into your comments I think that what you need to take into account some of the factors that may be influencing your perception. Firstly as a gay male I cannot tell you how many times someone has posted a big penis photo yet in person when errect they are average if that. So some people may be posting misleading pictures. Secondly it might be hard to quantify but is there a bias where larger than average men want to post pictures since they get such great reactions from followers. Lastly although social media can feel like the world it really is only a percentage of the entire population. I hope you don’t feel too harshly criticized by me because I found your letter got me thinking and engaged so thank you.
