I like to use this herb occasionally to help me relax or wind down. Works every time (or at least 9/10). The herb itself has an odd taste and smell…., reminds me of an ashtray. I’ve had it in various smoothie concoctions but had yet to find a drink in which the taste of Bacopa was a good fit. As part of my job as a social worker I am a cook in state licensed kitchen. I have been cooking and devising food and drink concoctions for a good part of my life. I pride myself in always looking for and learning new ways to prepare and season foods. Tonight I had an the idea of combining some chai spices with the Bacopa in a tea with a almond milk honey base. It is delicious! For you, my fellow health seekers, I provide the recipe:
Warm Almond Milk
Stir in desired amount of good honey
Stir in Bacopa, Cinnamon, Cardamom,
and Cloves
Add your favorite whipped topping.
***Stir before each drink to keep spices distributed throughout drink
**Feel free to experiment with other chai spices such as All Spice, Pepper, etc. ..
