Recently, I took time to call one of our sponsored fighters. His name is Derrick Kennington, 33, and he is a professional MMA fighter, full-time Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach, college student and military veteran. He has been using our herbs for over two years on a regular basis and it has had a profound impact on his athletics and quality of life.

Here are some of the questions I put forth to him and his replies:
How long have you been studying BJJ? I’ve been training for 11 years. On July 25th, I will have had my black belt for three years.
How long have you been teaching? Well, it started with my Blue Belt in late 2007/early 2008 but have been full-time since 2014.
What branch of Armed Services were you in? I was an Air Force Civil Engineer. I served three tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.
Were you taking any herbs before you found us? No, actually I didn’t know about herbs. I was healthy as can be otherwise and only took protein and creatine stuff. During the 2015 title fight, I came across Super Man Herbs and started reading up on them. Spartan Formula was the first one I tried but moved on to combining Eleuthero, Maral Root, and some Cordyceps. Eventually started using the Black Ant and Shilajit.
And what have you noticed from them? All the herbs I’ve tried have helped me perform as a professional MMA fighter and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach. I have to recover fast to teach my classes and train on my own skills 2 times a day. It gets rough when I don’t take my Lost Empire herbs on a regular basis. I can physically tell a difference. My mood is different, and I don’t recover as fast. I swear by the herbs and won’t do a fight camp without them in my arsenal of daily supplements to help me peak.
The Ant and Shilajit Powder help tremendously. The Ant makes me stronger and more muscular. I take almost a teaspoon every morning and night. Sometimes I take a whole tsp when I know I am gonna need more that day because of training or competition. The Shilajit Powder I take around the same amount.
How long have you been taking herbs? For two years, I have been taking herbs before every fight. They definitely help in competition.
Do you take anything for the mental side of things? I’ve actually been training with a guy on some mental stuff for my fights. Herbally though, I have found that Bacopa helps me focus best. It also helps with libido.
You take anything for the mental before that? Started on Alpha Brain from Onnit. That stuff I could tell when I didn’t take it. There stuff is kind of expensive. Switched to your bacopa after that.
Have your students copied your example with the herbs? Yes, absolutely. My cousin’s son has been ordering Athena for his girlfriend, and I got a guy that came down from New York to train with me on them.
Since we are an herbal company, I have to ask, what herbs are you currently taking? Easy, Pine Pollen, Black Ant, Shilajit, Cordyceps, Bacopa, and Reishi.
Thank you for speaking to me about this Derrick, we really appreciate all the work you do in spreading the message of health through the use of herbs. Yeah, it is the least I can do for you guys. I appreciate your company sponsoring me and my fighting. I have been buying the herbs for two years and would continue to do so if you guys didn’t because they work. Thank you guys for all that you do to help people naturally!

These articles are absolutely encouraging to read.
I like to hear what other men are doing to keep them on their best edge.
Especially for Jiu-jitsu and competition. I am trying to reach my peak but have no interest in trying to Hulk it up.
Cool article! Thanks for publishing the interview. Great to hear what a super hard training athlete takes.
