Find out about harvesting tongkat ali. This amazing root has certainly piqued the interest in the holistic body, strength and mind community over the past few decades.
Of course, to many, this root is not anything new and has been used for ages and even been deemed as a cure-all. In the video below, you will be able to see the simplicity and power of what Tongkat Ali tea can provide for the prowess, strength, and perseverance of one’s radiant health.

The below video shows you:
- The arduous process of how Tongkat Ali is sought out
- Why it take so long to harvest (the process of digging out the long, twisted roots and more)
- The various obstacles surrounding harvesting after a specimen is found
- Why you should NEVER consume raw Tongkat Ali
- The proper preparation method(s)
- And much more…
Although we have known about this astounding root (boasting that it could indeed be the #1 male herb on the planet), we, at Lost Empire Herbs made sure to uphold one of the core values Lost Empire Herbs represents: Questing for Quality.
We put forth a tremendous amount of intention into collecting a wide variety of samples of various strengths and potency levels. We tested them one after the other. The VERY first Tongkat Ali we tried was half maltodextrin, and of course, no effects were felt by any of us. We weren’t going to sell that crap!
This undertaking was something we all focused on intensely as we found out again and again there are an unsavory amount of fakes out there.
Now, our Tongkat Ali is harvested from WILD Malaysian trees that are at the least 25-30 years old. This is even older than what Rosland would collect his roots at.
Here we have a high quality and potent 100:1 water-soluble extract of the Eurycoma longifolia roots.
It has been over a year and a half and we still have not found a comparable Tongkat Ali that has surpassed ours.
Interestingly enough – what a package is labeled as say, a Tongkat that is 200:1 doesn’t necessarily mean that it is going to be better than the 100:1 that we carry.
I firmly believe that because we are able to use purely wild and healthy trees that have lived long enough to where the baby saplings growing around them are actually ready for harvest in the eyes of many, including Rosland in the above video.
Remember, bitter IS better! And this Longjack, Eurycoma Longifolia is a prime example of just that.
As touched on in the video, Tongkat Ali’s benefits do not just apply to men. Women certainly can (and do) take advantage of its powerful muscle building, testosterone increasing capabilities as well.
(Yes, women need testosterone just like men need estrogen – the good estrogen of course!)

What country is it extracted and made into the final product
Our Tongkat has the extraction done in Malaysia. It is packaged in the bags or bottles in the USA.
Logan
I would like to order tongkat ali, but I was hoping you can guide me on this.
I read that malaysia TA is protected and contains high amount of lead.
Also that Indonesia TA is better. It should be TA extract and should be of 1-200 not 1-100 1-200 is most concentrated and potent.
My understanding is that 1-100 means 100 grams to make 1 gram. 1-200 is 200 grams to make 1 gram.
Supposedly you should get 1000 mg per day.
I tried TA from a company called herbolab which makes TA of 1-200.
300 mg per capsule, take 4 capsules per day. They recommend that you cycle on and off.
After 2 months dont feel nothing from it, they say it takes about 2 weeks to a month to work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also, have you heard anything about pine pollen causing peyronnes disease.
Thanks
Don
Logan’s on vacation in Europe currently so I am taking this one Don. What you hear is just internet rumors. Our perspective on ‘rumors’ that are on the internet is that nothing beats trying the product and seeing if it works for you. We have heard all this before and out of all the tongkat I have tried, ours is simple better. Believe me when I say that we would switch to something that works even better if we find it. That being said, extract ratio numbers with Tongkat is in this case marketing bullshit in my opinon. If it works it works, doesn’t matter how much they extract it.
As for the lead, this is the amount that our testing of our Tongkat found:
Lead 0.63 ppm (w/w)
That report can be found on the tongkat sales page. Not really anything to worry about there concerning lead levels!
Per your experience with that other brand, I find it strange that you didn’t feel anything but it is known to happen. We’ve had a very few customers who consume our stuff and feel nothing. Course that don’t mean its not helping you but not every herb is gonna help every person. Maybe it is not the right herb for your system. Or maybe that isn’t really good stuff? Whatever it is, if you tried ours and the same result happened it would be safe to assume you don’t respond to the root and should just not take it. We will gladly send you a sample of ours to try out before you waste money on it if that indeed is the case with you, just let us know if you are interested in that.
After reading about Peyronnes disease some I would think that PP could potentially actually help out with it but other then that have not heard any which way if it would hinder or help Peyronnes.
Thanks for the questions Don.
Thanks for the video and good information
